Creating Space classwork: This comic strip is about a dog who pursues a sandwich after his owner leaves and then gets in trouble for it. The first cell shows size, the second cell shows position in field, the third shows one point perspective, the fourth shows overlapping, the fifth shows depth of field, and the last shows an aerial view.

Scale and Proportion advertisement
This ad shows a happy baby girl wearing a blue and gold earring. Scale is immediately seen in this picture when one looks at the earring. It is big and almost overwhelming in comparison to the baby. Also, due to the natural proportions of babies compared to adults, the head of the baby looks bigger and exaggerated as opposed to an adult head. The size of the baby’s head and the size of the earring also create a focal point for the piece because of the exaggerated size and unusual imagery. There is also a great example of proportion in this piece. If one places a rule of thirds grid on top of the advertisement, the baby appears in the first two columns of the grid. The focal point, the center light blue jewel in the earring, lays where two lines that create the grid cross.
